We’re recruiting for a Forklift Operative to join a well-established manufacturing site in Silloth. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability, structured training, and clear pay progression. You’ll be joining a supportive team within a busy, fast-paced environment where safety, quality, and teamwork are a real priority.
The Role
Hours:
8:00am – 4:30pm (Standard)
6:00am – 6:00pm (Spring/Summer)
Pay: £13.00ph, rising to £14.50 after training
Contract: Temp to PermWhat you’ll be doing
As a Forklift Operative, you’ll play a key role in supporting the flow of goods across site. Your duties will include:
Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading deliveries
Moving stock and materials across the site
Supplying production lines with required materials
Carrying out basic stock checks and recording movements
Supporting general warehouse and production duties as required
