Are you an experienced and compassionate Early Years professional with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEND 1:1 Nursery Practitioner to join a supportive and forward-thinking team across three nursery settings in Bristol.
This is a unique and dynamic role where no two days are the same. You’ll work on a 1:1 basis supporting children with additional needs across multiple settings, with your location varying depending on where support is required. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety while making a meaningful impact every day.
What we’re looking for:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years – essential
Experience supporting children with SEND in an early years setting
A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and observational skills
A genuine commitment to inclusive practice
What you will be doing:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support tailored to each child’s individual needs
Act as a key point of contact between parents and nursery staff
Ensure children are supported, engaged, and comfortable throughout the day
Plan and deliver age-appropriate, inclusive activities
Implement and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Monitor, record, and update developmental progress
Stay up to date with best practice and complete ongoing training
Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple settings
Attend staff meetings, planning sessions, and training
