Based in a state-of-the-art facility in Tring, you will lead product regulation, ensuring compliance with international standards across global sites. You will interpret EU and UL requirements and work closely with engineering teams to embed compliance into product design in a practical, commercially balanced way. You will also have the autonomy to develop new processes and enhance existing global compliance frameworks, ensuring best practice is embedded across the business.
The position requires a strong electromechanical background, ideally gained in a high-tech or advanced engineering environment, along with proven experience in regulated industries. You should be comfortable not only understanding regulations but also applying them pragmatically in a product development setting. Experience working cross-functionally and across international teams will be important, as will the ability to influence stakeholders and drive best practice across the business.
Alongside day-to-day regulatory support, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing global compliance processes. This includes overseeing technical documentation, supporting risk assessments, ensuring adherence to CE/UKCA and related directives, and maintaining compliance with environmental and chemical regulations. You will also act as the main point of contact for regulatory matters, both internally and externally, and lead investigations where compliance issues arise.
This opportunity would suit someone who thrives in a regulatory leadership role, taking full ownership of product compliance while contributing to the development of advanced engineering solutions. The position offers a flexible working environment, including hybrid options and the potential for a compressed working week. It also provides the autonomy to shape and improve processes without unnecessary bureaucracy, with the freedom to drive change and implement best practice.

Strong background in regulatory compliance, including assessment, implementation, and ongoing adherence
