How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Days - Monday - Friday
    £38,000 - £40,000 + Specialist Training (including external qualifications) + Progression Available + No Call Outs + Healthcare Assist Schemes

    Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a market-leading company that offers specialist internal training and external qualifications to develop your skills in being a go-to technical expert and progression into more senior positions?

    On offer is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a market-leading services provider that will heavily invest in your technical growth to become the best at what you do, whilst working on new cutting-edge machinery.

    The company is renowned within the Industrial Services industry. Due to continued success and investment, they are looking to expand and strengthen the Engineering department.

    Within this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preventive maintenance and some reactive maintenance. There is great training included, so any Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineering background is encouraged to apply.

    The Role:
    *Preventive and reactive maintenance of the Production site
    *Electrical and Mechanical fault finding, servicing, and installation.
    *Days - Monday - Friday
