CTR Select are currently recruiting for a Trainee Estimator to join our client based in Englefield Green. Office based Monday - Friday 7.30am -4pm.
We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a team environment, and can meet tight deadlines.
The successful Trainee Estimator will be responsible for:
* Utilising estimating software to build quotations
* Reviewing tender information to highlight any necessary tender clarifications
* Develop cost plans and budget estimates
* Liaising with the estimating manager and other senior personnel on current estimates and the handover of projects upon order of contract
* Carrying out labour and material take-off’s
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to deal with high work volumes and prioritise accordingly
* Excellent time management and ability to multitask
* Working within a client lead role
* Reporting to the Estimating Manager
The Trainee Estimator will have:
* Good IT skills, including Excel
* Good communication skills and confident on the phone
* Always upholds a professional attitude
* Flexibility and commitment
