* Answering employee’s questions and concerns regarding payroll
* Entering employee information and payroll data into the ADP system
* Checking timesheets against Service Rota’s
* Preparing payroll reports for senior Management
* Changing employee bank records when necessary to process payments accurately
* General office administration
* Answering phone calls
* General hospitality for visitors
* Communicating with a range of people including clients, families, and professionals
* Assisting with Human Resources paperwork and administration
* Maintaining company databases and electronic records
* Other general duties as required
Am I the right person for this Payroll Officer job?
We are looking for a highly motivated, friendly, and diligent Payroll Officer to support our management and office team. This position will be based in our Welwyn Garden City office, it is not a remote or hybrid role.
Experience with a Time & Attendance software is preferred
* A wide range of IT skills and the ability to use Microsoft software and spreadsheets
* Organised and able to prioritise workload
* Ability to adapt communication to meet target audience
* Strong administrative background and have an excellent attention to detail
* Understanding the importance of confidentiality
