Deputy Headteacher

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Deputy Headteacher to join our specialist SEN school in North West London. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing Deputy or Assistant Head ready to take the next step, or further develop their impact within a forward-thinking, inclusive setting.

Role Overview
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: Leadership Scale (£61,000 - £86,000) - Based on experience
Location: North London
Position: Deputy Headteacher - Specialist SEN School
Requirement: QTS and senior leadership experience

As Deputy Headteacher, you will work closely with the Headteacher to drive strategic improvement, with a particular focus on quality of education, staff development, and pupil outcomes. You will play a key role in shaping curriculum, embedding best practice in SEN, and leading a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on teaching, learning, and curriculum development
* Drive pupil progress and ensure consistently high standards
* Line manage and develop staff, building leadership capacity across the school
* Promote a strong, inclusive culture focused on communication, independence, and wellbeing
* Contribute to whole-school strategy, safeguarding, and continuous improvement
