We are recruiting a Refuse / Recycling LGV Driver to join a busy waste and recycling operation.
The role involves:
Driving LGV and non‑LGV vehicles on waste and recycling collection routes
Collecting domestic and commercial waste, including bulky items
Leading and supporting a crew while on route
Completing daily vehicle checks and required paperwork
Working safely in line with road traffic and health & safety regulationsRequirements:
Valid Category C driving licence
Driver CPC qualification
Experience in driving LGV vehicles and manual handling
Good awareness of health & safety, especially working on highways
Reliable, team‑focused with good communication skills
Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays when requiredThis is a physically active role requiring good stamina and a professional approach when dealing with members of the public.
