How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Learning Support Pratitioner - Hatfield - Primary School

We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and high-performing primary school for a full-time Learning Support Practitioner to join the team on a fixed-term basis until the end of the academic year, providing maternity cover. This role is available as soon as possible. For the right candidate this will be extended into the new year.

The school is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, caring and reliable Learning Support Practitioner who is self-motivated, proactive and flexible. You will work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning in the classroom, as well as providing targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils.

In return, the Hatfield School offers a well-resourced and supportive environment where staff are genuinely valued, recognised for their contributions, and encouraged to engage in ongoing training and professional development. Pupils are known for their excellent behaviour and strong sense of community.

This is a vibrant and forward-thinking school with high expectations for both pupils and staff. There is a strong commitment to nurturing each child's talents and interests, supporting their holistic development throughout their learning journey. The Hatfield school community is inclusive, respectful and celebrates diversity, ensuring that all cultures, faiths and beliefs are valued equally.

Visitors often comment on the warmth and positivity felt throughout the school, with caring and supportive staff who place children at the heart of everything they do. Open and effective communication with parents and pupils is a key priority.

Prospective Learning Support practitioner's are strongly encouraged to visit the school to learn more about the role, explore the facilities and experience the welcoming atmosphere first-hand.

The Hatfield school is a single-academy trust, established in 2012, and is a popular two-form entry primary school with approximately 420 pupils from Reception to Year 6. #Education and Training #Learning Support Practitioner #Education and Training #Hatfield #Education and Training #Learning Support Practitioner
