About the Company
We’re working with a well-established and highly respected plant hire business with a strong UK presence. Known for investing in both their fleet and their engineers, they’re continuing to grow and are now looking to add a Workshop Plant Engineer to their Ilford depot.
The Role
As a Workshop Plant Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of plant equipment within the depot.
You’ll be working on:
Excavators
Dumpers
Tower lights
Powered access equipment
General plant machinery
This is a depot-based role, ideal for an engineer who prefers a structured environment with consistent support, tooling and access to parts.
The Candidate
Experience working on plant equipment (heavy plant, small plant or powered access)
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Comfortable working in a workshop environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Backgrounds considered: plant hire, construction, powered access, forklifts, agricultural
