A growing renewables contractor is looking to bring in an experienced Solar PV Electrician to support delivery and technical quality across a range of projects.
This role would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, working across multiple sites, and being a go-to technical point of contact rather than purely installing day-to-day.
The Role
Diagnosing and resolving faults across Solar PV and battery systems
Carrying out testing, inspection, and certification
Overseeing and approving electrical work on site
Acting as a technical support contact for engineers
Reviewing system layouts and identifying potential issues pre-install
Supporting commissioning and performance checks
Visiting sites to carry out assessments and quality checks
Getting involved in more complex installs where needed
What We're Looking For
Solid background in Solar PV
Experience working with battery storage systems
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Inspection & testing experience (2391 or similar)
Good working knowledge of current wiring regulations (18th Edition)
Confident reviewing technical drawings/designs
Full UK Driving Licence
