Job Description:
We are currently recruiting Temporary Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to adults in supported living services across Greater Manchester. The role involves supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and safely within the community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Deliver person-centred care in line with individual support plans
* Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, and meal preparation
* Support service users with medication administration
* Encourage independence and community engagement
* Maintain accurate records and report any concerns
* Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Flexible approach to working hours
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Epilepsy training or awareness
* Experience supporting individuals with complex needs or behaviours that challenge
