How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the role

    An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance & Health and Safety Engineer to join the team based in the Bristol area.

    Reporting into the local Quality Manager, this role plays a key part in maintaining EN9100 compliance, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and acting as the primary Health & Safety focal point on site.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Supporting the Quality Manager with EN9100 compliance and QMS activities
    Investigating quality issues using tools such as 8D and root cause analysis
    Supporting internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits
    Managing document control, supplier quality support and improvement actions
    Leading site Health & Safety activities, including risk assessments and inspections

    What you'll need

    Minimum 2 years' experience in a Quality or Assurance role
    Working knowledge of EN9100, 8D problem solving and FMECA
    Formal internal auditing experience (qualification preferred)
    Practical Health & Safety experience, including risk assessments and incident reporting
    HNC, degree or equivalent qualification
    Strong digital skills with the ability to produce structured reports and documentation
