How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Lead Data Modeller

    Up to £110,000 + Benefits

    Hybrid | London

A global consumer‑experiences organisation with a diverse international portfolio is undergoing a digital transformation to enhance the end‑to‑end guest journey across its attractions. They are now hiring a Lead Data Modeller to play a critical role in this strategic transformation.

They are looking for an individual with a unique blend of Data Modelling and Data Analysis expertise, supported by a strong foundational understanding of architecture. You’ll be responsible for building and shaping the core data architecture suite, working closely with data architects and analytics teams to understand enterprise‑wide consumption needs and translate them into high‑quality physical data models. You’ll bring strong knowledge of both AI‑driven data design and traditional modelling semantics, balancing business strategy with technical detail.

Responsibilities as a Lead Data Modeller:

    • Design and own the Cross-Group Data Model.
    • Act as the internal consultant for report makers across the business.
    • Implement and own the Data Catalogue using Databricks Unity.
    • Act as the direct Line Manager for Data Analysts.
    • Map the "As-Is" data flows.

    Key Requirements:

    • 5–8 years of experience in data modelling or data architecture, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Strong Dimensional Modelling skills (Kimball).
    • Solid experience with Databricks Unity Catalog and Microsoft Fabric/Purview.
    • Advanced Power BI (DAX/modelling) and Excel capability to effectively support report creators.
    • Proven ability to build a semantic layer from scratch in a complex, multi‑site environment.

    Nice-to-Haves:

    • Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.

    Benefits:

    • Salary up £110,000
    • Flexible Hybrid working structure
    • Discretionary company bonus

This a great opportunity to shape the data foundations of a global organisation at a pivotal moment in its digital transformation, giving you the freedom to influence enterprise‑wide architecture across a international portfolio.
