Job Description:
Search Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Fire Stopper to join a busy construction project in Edinburgh. This role involves carrying out high-quality passive fire protection work to ensure buildings meet strict fire safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of fire stopping systems including batt & mastic, fire collars, wraps, and sealants
Sealing service penetrations to maintain fire resistance
Reading and interpreting site drawings and specifications
Ensuring all work complies with current fire safety regulations and standards
Working closely with site management and other trades
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
Expierience with QUELFIRE and HILTI SOLUTIONS
Valid CSCS card (essential)
Proven experience in passive fire protection / fire stopping
Knowledge of relevant fire safety regulations and systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Own tools and PPE preferred
