We are currently supporting our client, a prominent Injection Moulding manufacturer based in Sutton Coldfield, who is looking for an experienced Mould Setter to join their expanding team. If you have a background in Injection Moulding and are skilled in setting equipment and tooling, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Position Overview:
The successful Mould Setter will be responsible for setting all equipment on Injection Moulding lines, ensuring efficient operation and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires expertise in fault recognition, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various moulding materials and robotics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting Equipment: Set up all equipment on Injection Moulding lines, including tools and ancillary equipment, within required timeframes as directed by the Team Co-Ordinator.
* Efficiency Management: Ensure all Injection Moulding lines are running efficiently to meet KPIs: OEE, line efficiency, quality, and conformance.
* Quality Checks: Complete and record all quality checks as specified by the Quality Department.
* Tool Maintenance: Care for and maintain all Injection Moulding tooling, ensuring they are suitable for required tasks.
Key Requirements:
* Trained in Injection Moulding Setting
* Qualified to use Hoists / Lifting equipment
* Good mechanical knowledge
* Ability to recognize faults and troubleshoot
* Experience with robotics
* Understanding of different moulding material characteristics
