How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Youth Mentor (Behaviour Mentor) – SEMH School – Bromley – ASAP Start

    ***Youth Mentor required for a specialist all-through SEMH school in Bromley
    ***Youth Mentor to provide 1:1 behavioural, emotional, and pastoral support
    ***Youth Mentor must have at least 1 year’s experience working with young people, ideally within an SEMH or specialist setting
    ***Youth Mentor must have strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
    ***Team Teach or Physical Intervention training is desirable

    The Role – Youth Mentor (Behaviour Mentor) – Bromley

    A specialist all-through SEMH school in Bromley is looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Youth Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. The school operates across two sites and caters to students from primary through to secondary age, all of whom require additional support with their social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

    In this Youth Mentor role, you will provide tailored support through 1:1 interventions, small group work, and in-class assistance, as well as supporting students outside of the classroom when required. As a Youth Mentor you will work closely with pupils who may display challenging behaviour, so strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships are essential.

    This is a well-established all-through SEMH school based across two sites in Bromley, supporting approximately 120–150 students.
