We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Engineer to join a growing team covering sites across the Newcastle area. This is a great opportunity to secure a stable role with variety and long-term prospects.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance on a range of commercial gas systems, ensuring everything remains safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on gas systems
* Respond to breakdowns and complete reactive repairs
* Service, maintain, and repair commercial boilers and plant equipment
* Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works
* Ensure full compliance with gas safety regulations
* Complete all relevant documentation accurately
* Work within safe systems of work and permit procedures
What You’ll Need:
* Proven experience as a Gas Engineer in commercial environments
* Valid commercial gas qualifications (e.g. ACS)
* Experience working on boilers and plant equipment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload
* Full UK driving licence
