We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established team in the Cambridge area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a stable role with variety and long-term progression.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance, ensuring all systems and plant equipment remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Respond to breakdowns and complete reactive repairs
* Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works
* Maintain accurate records and update CAFM systems
* Prepare risk assessments and method statements
* Work within permit-to-work systems and safe procedures
* Support and oversee subcontractors where required
What You’ll Need:
* Proven experience in electrical maintenance
* Strong knowledge of BS7671
* Experience in commercial or multi-site environments
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Good communication and organisational skills
