Alternative Provision Tutor - Sheffield

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting passionate and adaptable Tutors to work across a range of Alternative Provision (AP) settings in Sheffield.

This is a rewarding opportunity as Alternative Provision Tutor to support young people who may be disengaged from mainstream education, helping them to re-engage with learning and achieve their full potential.

The Role:

Delivering tailored 1:1 and small group tuition across core subjects (e.g. English, Maths, Science)
Planning and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
Building positive, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and progress
Working collaboratively with staff to support each student's personalised learning planThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children or young people, ideally within alternative provision or similar settings
Strong subject knowledge in at least one core area
A patient, flexible, and creative approach to teaching
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A genuine passion for making a difference to students who need extra supportWhat We Offer:
