The Role
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a key role in preparing pupils for the academic demands of upper Key Stage 2, building strong foundations ahead of Year 6.
You will:
• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the curriculum
• Support pupils in developing confidence and independence in their learning
• Use assessment effectively to identify gaps and inform next steps
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency across KS2
What They’re Looking For
This role would suit a Year 5 Teacher who:
• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching within KS2
• Can demonstrate strong classroom practice and pupil progress
• Is confident managing behaviour and maintaining high standards
• Takes a proactive and reflective approach to teaching

Inner London MPS: £40,317 – £52,300
