How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Due to company expansion, we are now recruiting for a FLT/warehouse operative to work in a fast paced, modern warehouse to be part of a team completing various warehouse and FLT duties.

    This is a manual position 80/20 manual work but need to have FLT to assist with loading and unloading etc, as well as picking of orders that are over the manual lifting limit.

    Job Purpose:
    To support efficient warehouse operations by accurately picking, handling, and moving stock while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

    Hours:

    Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm and 2pm-10pm rotating weekly

    *This role will initially be working in Halesowen, but will move to new site in Bilston in September of 2026.*

    Key Responsibilities:

    *

    Pick and prepare orders accurately in line with picking lists

    *

    Load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse

    *

    Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently

    *

    Carry out general warehouse duties including housekeeping and stock checks

    *

    Adhere to all health & safety procedures and site policies

    Requirements:

    *

    Valid MHE licence for Counterbalance or Reach or PPT

    *

    Previous warehouse or picking experience required.

    *

    Good attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines

    *

    Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

    *

    Reliable, punctual, and able to work long shifts
