Warehouse Operative (Shipping and Logistics)

Hales Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (Shipping & Logistics) on behalf of one of our well‑established manufacturing clients based in Halesworth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to join a busy and well‑organised operation with a strong focus on logistics, shipping, and customer service.
  
This role offers a varied workload, international exposure, and the chance to take ownership of key accounts within a supportive team environment. The position is full‑time and permanent, offering stability and excellent working hours.
  
Key Responsibilities

Booking export shipments via carrier portals including FedEx, DHL, TNT, and UPS
Providing shipment information for both imports and exports to shipping agents worldwide
Booking inbound shipments of products from global manufacturing sites
Recording import and export shipments for government packaging compliance (training provided)
Sole responsibility for the preparation and shipping of a large key customer account
Printing labels for production and preparing products for despatch
General warehouse duties including goods in, pick, pack, and despatch   
Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience within a warehouse or shipping/logistics environment
Confidence using Microsoft Office packages
Experience using an ERP system (beneficial but not essential)
Valid Reach Truck and Order Picker licences (essential)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
