You will work closely with the class teacher and wider team to support children’s learning through play-based activities, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
Assist with the care, supervision, and wellbeing of nursery-aged children
Help to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Work with individuals and small groups to support development
Assist with observations and record-keeping
Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers
What we are looking for:
Experience working with young children (preferably in an early years setting)
A relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable
A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Phase
Patience, enthusiasm, and a nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
