Architectural Metalwork & Steelwork Estimator

We are a steel detailing, fabrication & installation business based in Newton Abbot, who now seek an additional experienced Architectural Metalwork & Steelwork Estimator.

We produce a wide variety of work in both mild steel & stainless steel including;
Architectural Metalwork
Secondary Steelwork
Structural Steelwork

The role:

•Estimating architectural metalwork secondary steelwork & structural steel
•To read and interpret architects and engineering drawings
•To understand, evaluate & populate estimating data into the company’s estimating systems.

•Comply & assist with H&S procedures & requirements

The candidate:
•Experience from a steel fabrication & installation background & familiar in estimating steel fabrication / architectural metalwork.
•Ability to use CAD software systems & 3D detailing in particular, is a distinct advantage

•Ability to use excel, word
•Driven by quality of workmanship.
•Ability to work in a close knit fast track business.
•Good communication skills & able to liaise with Architects, Engineers & Clients
•Good IT Skills & CSCS an advantage
