Jaydee-Brook is an established and successful Shopfitting & Commercial Internal Fit Out Company based in Peterborough. With over 35 years’ experience in retail, commercial, industrial installations and refurbishments, the Company has built a strong reputation for quality, efficiency and service.

As part of our expansion programme we are currently looking to recruit experienced:

KITCHEN FITTERS – ABOVE INDUSTRY RATES OF PAY OFFERED

Location : Ongoing projects at various sites throughout the UK
Package & Benefits : Circa (£80k +) dependent on ability & experience
self employed basis)
Regularity & consistency of work
Accommodation & transport allowances
Start Date : Immediate start available

Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for undertaking kitchen installations within retail outlets across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

* Competent in fitting kitchens to a high standard

* Competent in basic plumbing

* A minimum of 5 years site experience within the shop fitting industry

* Available to work on sites spread across the UK

* Possess own hand tools (110v only with PAT certification)

* Work on a self-employed status

* Have own means of transport and can get to the sites across the UK

* Be enthusiastic and have a positive outlook to their work

* Can provide 2 references upon request

The following skills are not compulsory but would be a distinct advantage in our selection process

* Possess an up to date First Aid certificate

* Be certified for asbestos awareness

* Hold an IPAF Licence

Key Skills & Qualifications:

* Must hold relevant qualifications (eg. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, City & Guilds)

* Previous work experience in a similar role.

* Holder of appropriate CSCS card

* Hold a valid UK driving licence.

* Possess good communication skills

* Show a willingness to be helpful, enthusiastic and flexible.

* Possess strong self-motivation and be a good self-organiser to carry out necessary duties.

* Must have experience of working in retail environments.
