What you will be doing
·Manage and co-ordinate all information relating to bids and tenders within your area.
·Research and analyse materials, equipment, and labour costs to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
·Develop a clear understanding of each client's technical and commercial needs.
·Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors.
·Plan job timescales and assess potential commercial risks.
·Prepare and present detailed quotations and tender submissions.
·Support new business bids and assist with procurement activities.
·Monitor tender progress to ensure costs remain aligned with forecasts.
·Communicate financial aspects of tenders clearly to site and delivery teams during handover.
·Ensure all estimating work complies with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
What you will bring
·A strong construction background with a solid understanding of estimating techniques.
·Experience working on civil engineering projects with a main contractor.
·Proficiency with spreadsheets and estimating software.
·Excellent communication and analytical skills.
·A proactive, ambitious attitude with the ability to meet strict deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
·Full eligibility to work in the UK.
