We are currently recruiting for a Housing Sustainment Advisor to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering high-quality housing and support services across Plymouth.
This is a rewarding, community-based role where you will work directly with customers in their homes, providing practical support to help them sustain their tenancies, live independently, and achieve their personal goals.
About the Role
You will work closely with Housing Officers and wider support teams to deliver an Intensive Housing Management service. The role is highly customer-focused and involves regular outreach, partnership working, and hands-on support.
Key aspects of the role include:
* Conducting regular home visits to review customer progress and wellbeing
* Supporting customers to maintain safe, clean, and sustainable accommodation
* Providing advice on budgeting, bills, and accessing financial support
* Assisting with housing applications, including social housing and private rentals
* Coordinating repairs, contractor access, and property-related matters
* Identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns, including making appropriate referrals
* Working collaboratively with external agencies such as health, social care, and local authorities
* Maintaining accurate records and contributing to case reviews and service outcomes

* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
* Ability to work independently across the community
