Join a SEND Secondary setting, based in the Medway Towns, dedicated to supporting children with SEMH and complex needs, where every child is given the opportunity to achieve.

* Location: Medway – Chatham
* Pay Range: £94 – 105 per day
* Contract Type: Full-Time (Mon – Friday)
About the role:
* Demonstrates a strong understanding of SEMH needs and a commitment to supporting positive outcomes for pupils
* Supports the delivery of engaging lessons using adaptive teaching strategies to meet individual needs
* Works collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to support pupils’ holistic development
* Provides effective support for pupils during lessons and unstructured times, promoting positive engagement
* Uses positive behaviour approaches to engage pupils with additional needs and foster a readiness to learn
Desirable skills & experience:
* A passion for supporting children with SEND, including ADHD and SEMH
* Works well as part of a team
* Ability to work full-time school hours
* Ability to motivate, encourage building positive relationships
* NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), ideally in SEND
While experience and qualifications are helpful, what matters most is your ability to build positive relationships and support pupils’ confidence and progress.
