Shift: 4 on 4 off – Days (6:00am – 6:00pm)
We’re looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a high-volume manufacturing site within the construction materials sector. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving a wide range of automated plant machinery, including robotics and heavy production equipment.
You’ll be working as part of an established maintenance team, supporting production through a mix of planned and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out mechanical maintenance on automated plant and machinery
Support breakdowns and minimise downtime across production
Work on robotics, conveyors, presses, and mixing equipment
Complete PPM activities and support continuous improvement
Maintain safe and efficient operation of all equipment
Requirements:
Strong mechanical maintenance background in a manufacturing environment
Good experience with hydraulics and pneumatics (essential)
Experience working with components such as bearings, gearboxes, chains, belts, and motors
Confident fault-finding and repairing heavy industrial machinery
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
