The Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will:
Lead structural design work on a variety of projects from early concept to construction
Produce highquality technical outputs in line with relevant UK codes and standards
Prepare, check, and review design calculations, drawings, and reports
Liaise effectively with clients, architects, and the wider design team throughout the design process
Attend site visits and provide technical support during construction stages
Support and collaborate with junior engineers and assist with mentoring where appropriate
Contribute to ongoing improvements in design processes and quality
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Has strong experience within a UK consultancy environment
Is working towards Chartered status (MIStructE or MICE preferred)
Has a solid understanding of UK design standards and Eurocodes
Is confident using structural analysis and design software
Has experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
Enjoys working collaboratively within multidisciplinary design teams
Communicates effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
