We’re currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Fabricator to join a busy and growing engineering business in Southampton. This is an ongoing contract opportunity with consistent hours and long-term work available for the right person.
This role will suit someone who is confident working from drawings and enjoys fabricating structural components to a high standard.
The Role
You’ll be involved in the fabrication of a range of steel structures, including:
Fabricating frames and assemblies from box section and mild steel
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
MIG welding to a high standard
Cutting, prepping, and assembling materials
Working independently and as part of a skilled shop floor team
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a MIG Fabricator
Strong fabrication skills with box section and structural steel
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Reliable, hard-working, and able to hit the ground running
