We are recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Plumbing / Heating Engineer to join a busy and growing maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work across a varied portfolio delivering planned, reactive, and remedial works.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out plumbing and gas maintenance works, ensuring all jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed service level targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), remedial, and reactive plumbing/heating works
* Diagnose faults and identify repair requirements
* Complete worksheets and service reports accurately and on time
* Work independently or as part of a two-person team depending on the task
* Use live reporting systems to manage and close assigned jobs within SLA timescales
* Assess plant condition and recommend replacements where required
* Participate in the out-of-hours callout rota
* Attend training courses and health & safety updates as required
Requirements
* Proven experience in plumbing and gas maintenance
* Relevant Gas Safe qualifications/certifications
* Full UK Driving Licence
* PTS qualification desirable
* Strong fault-finding ability and attention to detail
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems
