Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 / Level 3)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a well-established, high-quality day nursery in the Greater Manchester area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified professional who is committed to providing outstanding early years care and education.
The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Job Description
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the daily care and development of children, ensuring their individual needs are met while promoting learning through play in line with the EYFS framework.
You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to maintain a high standard of childcare.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and supervision for children
* Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities
* Support children’s emotional, social, and educational development
* Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment at all times
* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
* Work in partnership with parents and carers
* Follow safeguarding and health & safety policies
Requirements
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (CACHE/NVQ or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting (preferred)
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
