How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) – SEMH School – Bromley – ASAP Start

    ***Youth Worker required for a specialist all-through SEMH school in the borough of Bromley
    ***Youth Worker to provide behavioural, emotional, and pastoral support to students
    ***Youth Worker required with a minimum of 1 year’s experience working with young people, ideally in an SEMH or specialist setting
    ***Youth Worker must demonstrate strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
    ***Team Teach or Physical Intervention training is highly desirable for this Youth Worker role

    The Role – Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor)

    Our client, a specialist all-through SEMH school, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Youth Worker to join their team ASAP. The school operates across two sites and supports students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs from primary through to secondary age.

    As a Youth Worker you will be responsible for providing consistent behavioural, emotional, and pastoral support, helping students to engage positively in their learning and daily school life. The Youth Worker role will involve 1:1 support, small group work, in-class assistance, and outside classroom interventions.

    A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies, along with the ability to remain calm, patient, and resilient in challenging situations, is essential for this Youth Worker role. Team Teach or Physical Intervention training would be an advantage.
