The Role – Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor)
Our client, a specialist all-through SEMH school, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Youth Worker to join their team ASAP. The school operates across two sites and supports students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs from primary through to secondary age.
As a Youth Worker you will be responsible for providing consistent behavioural, emotional, and pastoral support, helping students to engage positively in their learning and daily school life. The Youth Worker role will involve 1:1 support, small group work, in-class assistance, and outside classroom interventions.
A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies, along with the ability to remain calm, patient, and resilient in challenging situations, is essential for this Youth Worker role. Team Teach or Physical Intervention training would be an advantage.
