How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Our client is a long established and dynamic Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health Services contractor. They work across sectors including education and commercial environments, delivering both product distribution and technical installation services. Their projects often integrate alongside wider M&E packages, particularly in low-voltage and smart technology systems.

    An opportunity has arisen for a Document Controller to join a live project based in Camden. This is a contract role supporting the project team with the effective management, control and distribution of project documentation.

    You will play a key role in ensuring all project information is accurately recorded, maintained and easily accessible, supporting smooth project delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Manage all incoming and outgoing project documentation

    * Maintain accurate document control systems and registers

    * Provide essential document control support to the delivery team on a major project.

    * Oversee the organisation, accuracy and flow of all project documentation.

    * Ensure full compliance with project specific naming conventions, revision control procedures and approval workflows.

    * Maintain efficient project governance through correct issuing, tracking and storage of documentation.

    * Work closely with the Project Manager, client representatives and subcontractors to support smooth information flow.

    * Support controlled issue processes and structured filing throughout the duration of the works.

    Key Requirements

    * Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction or M&E

    * Experience working on live project environments

    * Familiarity with document management systems

    * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

    * Ability to work in a fast paced project environment

    * Good communication and coordination skills

    Working Conditions

    * Site/project-based role in Camden

    * Collaborative project team environment

    * Immediate start preferred
