We are seeking an organised and proactive Temporary Project Manager to support the consolidation of two office spaces into a single, unified location for our client based in Ringwood. This is a hands-on role requiring strong coordination, communication, and administrative skills to ensure the smooth delivery of the project within agreed timelines and budget.
Key Responsibilities of Temporary Project Manager:
Project Management & Coordination
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the office consolidation project
* Liaise with contractors, tradespeople, and suppliers to coordinate workstreams
* Obtain and compare quotes, ensuring cost-effective solutions
* Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met
* Monitor progress and resolve any issues or delays proactively
* Act as a key point of contact between internal teams and external contractors
* Provide regular updates to senior management on project status
Administrative Support
* Support general administrative tasks related to the project
* Update and maintain company policy documents as required
* Distribute documentation to staff, ensuring completion within agreed timeframes
* Track responses and follow up where necessary
* Maintain accurate records and project documentation
Key Skills & Experience of Temporary Project Manager:
* Previous experience in project coordination or project management
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Experience liaising with contractors or external suppliers
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
* Good administrative and documentation skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Additional Information
* This is an ongoing temporary role with an immediate start required
* The role is full-time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
* Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience
