How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    HR Co-ordinator
    Based: High Wycombe
    Term: Permanent, Full time
Salary: £28000-£33000 pa + excellent benefits
    The HR Co-ordinator Role:
Are you ready to develop your HR career in a hands-on role that sits at the heart of the employee journey?
Join our People Team and take on a role that forms the operational backbone of the employee experience. As our HR Co‑ordinator, you'll be a key front‑line member of the People team and a first point of contact for colleagues throughout their employee journey. You'll be supported to learn, encouraged to share ideas, and trusted with work that has real, visible impact across the organisation.
A core part of your HR Co-ordinator role will be owning and delivering day‑to‑day HR administration processes. You'll play a hands‑on role in activities such as onboarding and offboarding, processing payroll changes, maintaining accurate employee records, issuing documentation, and ensuring our people processes are followed consistently and accurately.
As the HR Co-ordinator, you'll use your developing HR knowledge and strong attention to detail to:
    * Support colleagues with clear, empathetic and timely guidance on people processes
    * Maintain high‑quality people data and manage core trackers and documentation
    * Produce reports that support compliance, insight and effective decision‑making
Alongside this foundation, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in wider People initiatives, including Learning & Development, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, and Wellbeing. Your coordination and organisation will help ensure these programmes run smoothly and are accessible and meaningful for everyone.
The HR Co-ordinator will work closely with a supportive, collaborative People team who will guide your development, listen to your ideas, and give you space to take ownership as your confidence grows. You'll build trusted relationships across the business and contribute to delivering a reliable, high‑quality People service we can all be proud of.
The scope of this HR Co-ordinator role is broad and varied. You'll support around 280 people across four Focusrite companies based in the UK, Hong Kong and Australia with occasional involvement in other Group entities.
So, if you're looking to grow your HR career in a friendly, forward‑thinking team, then we'd love to meet you.
    HR Co-ordinator Duties:
    HR Support & Employee Experience
    * Act as the first line of HR support, managing the shared People Team inbox and triaging or resolving queries in a timely, accurate manner aligned with our policies and culture.
    * Provide routine guidance to employees and managers on HR processes, performance matters, absence, wellbeing, and other day-to-day employee topics, championing a positive, inclusive employee experience in every interaction.
    * Co-ordinate the people forum. This entails general meeting prep, including taking and assigning actions, and producing public comms.
    * Role-model our values and contribute to initiatives that strengthen inclusion, belonging, and the overall employee experience.
    Payroll & Operational Support
    * Prepare and process monthly payroll changes accurately, collaborating with the People Advisor, Head of People and Payroll Manager to ensure timely and correct submissions.
    * Co-ordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including HR inductions, system access, documentation, and exit interviews, ensuring a seamless and insightful experience.
    * Administer employee benefits, ensuring smooth enrolment, changes, provider communication, and accurate resolution of employee queries.
    * Support continuous improvement by reviewing processes, identifying efficiencies, and contributing ideas to enhance People Team operations.
    Data, Systems & Reporting
    * Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee data across the HRIS and People Team folders, ensuring changes affecting payroll are logged correctly and on time.
    * Produce core HR reports (e.g., right-to-work, probation, sickness, holiday) and maintain People trackers, logs, and portals.
    * Support data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness through diligent record‑keeping.
    Learning & Development
    * Co-ordinate the delivery of L&D initiatives, including liaising with external providers, promoting programmes, and tracking participation.
    * Administer and support ongoing development offerings such as LinkedIn Learning, Development Days, mentoring, learning agreements, and apprenticeships.
    EDIB
    * Assist with the delivery our EDIB (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging) programme, ensuring it is an effective driver of positive change within the organisation, and promotes a culture of equity, diversity, inclusivity and belonging.
    Wellbeing
    * Co-ordinate and implement an effective wellbeing provision, both through the direct actions of the People Team, and by providing managers with clear and consistent guidance that empowers them to make choices that support and promote wellbeing within their teams.
HR Co-ordinator Skills and Experience Required:
    * Ideally 1-2 years' experience in an HR/People or similar administrative role, with exposure to HR processes. CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards this.
    * Working knowledge of HR best practice, HR operations, and UK employment law.
    * Able to handle sensitive information confidentially and exercise sound judgement.
    * Strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening, and ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
    * Highly organised, flexible, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working with moderate guidance.
    * Good data analysis capability with intermediate Microsoft Excel ability.
    * Detail-focused, adaptable, quick to learn, and emotionally intelligent.
