How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job title: Programme Manager - Financial Crime Detection Capabilities

    Pay: £850 Per Day (Inside IR35, PAYE)

    Duration: 6 months

    Location: 2 days per week in the Stratford, London office (50% in office from 1 September)

    This change function sits at the centre of a major organisational transformation, driving the move towards a more data‑led, insight‑driven operating model. Its work enables effective oversight of highly complex markets through the delivery of strategically aligned change.

    About the programme

    This is a complex, high‑priority programme with multiple interdependent workstreams and is being considered for uplift to a Tier 1 initiative. It requires an experienced Programme Manager to provide senior leadership across a broad, multi‑faceted delivery landscape.

    About the role

    The Programme Manager is responsible for leading the Financial Crime Detection Capabilities Programme. They have primary responsibility for successful delivery of the required outcomes, including the establishment of appropriate governance and assurance, monitoring progress, managing risks and issues and ensuring the business readiness for change.

    Role Responsibilities:

    Leads medium‑ to high‑complexity programmes and portfolios, with oversight of lower‑complexity projects.
    Develops and owns investment cases, delivery plans, critical paths, and resource strategies.
    Manages senior internal and external stakeholders, escalating where executive support is required.
    Establishes and operates robust governance, assurance, and reporting frameworks.
    Oversees risk, issue, dependency, and supplier management across the programme.
    Ensures benefits are clearly defined, measured, owned by the business, and realised.
    Sets a clear programme vision, translating strategic objectives into delivery outcomes.
    Provides leadership, direction, and capability development across programme teams and the wider PM community.

    Skills:

    Minimum:

    Programme Management Expertise - Solid experience using recognised programme management methodologies, tools, and controls to deliver structured outcomes.
    Effective Communication - Able to communicate clearly and professionally with a range of stakeholders, providing timely updates and actively listening.
    Results‑Focused Delivery - Demonstrates the ability to manage workload, prioritise effectively, and deliver outcomes in a complex environment.

    Strategic Vision & Direction - Proven ability to set a clear direction for complex programmes, aligning delivery with wider organisational objectives.
    Stakeholder Engagement & Influence - Strong experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, managing expectations, and securing alignment in complex contexts.
