Location: Stourport
Reporting to: Stores & Goods In Manager
Pay Rate: £12.71 – £14.24 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm (30-minute lunch)
Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Stores / Goods In Operative to join our team in Stourport. This role is key to ensuring efficient stock control, accurate record-keeping, and smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Pick and distribute stock to meet business requirements
Maintain accurate stock control, including storage and location management
Update records and systems as required
Carry out regular stock checks and counts
Follow all procedures when completing tasks
Report discrepancies to the appropriate department
Maintain a safe working environment and culture
Ensure high standards of housekeeping across all work areas
Support other departments when required
Comply with all company Health & Safety regulations
Carry out additional duties as requested by the Stores Supervisor or Manager
Requirements
Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
Previous experience in stockroom or warehouse organisation
Strong attention to detail
Good organisational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Able to work effectively under pressure
Forklift licence (preferred/required)
Positive attitude with energy and enthusiasm
Flexible to undertake ad hoc duties as needed
