How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About Us

HENI is an international art services business working with leading artists and estates across printmaking, marketplaces for physical artworks, NFTs, publishing, digital, video production, art research and analysis. HENI is at the cutting edge of art and tech using the latest and best technologies, to make art accessible to audiences worldwide.

    The Role

We are seeking a disciplined and proficient Video Editor to manage the post-production lifecycle across our documentary, social, and podcast platforms. This role requires an individual who can balance high-volume output with meticulous aesthetic standards.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to translate scholarly themes into engaging visual narratives for a global digital audience. A proven ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment where "no two days are the same."

This is a full-time role, based in our post-production edit house in Soho.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Multimodal Editing: Execute end-to-end post-production for short-form documentaries, multi-camera podcasts, and optimised social media assets.
    • Visual Research & Continuity: Source and curate archival imagery and footage, ensuring historical accuracy and high-resolution standards across all projects.
    • Technical Optimisation: Maintain a rapid workflow without compromising quality.
    • Brand Stewardship: Ensure all video output aligns with our organisation’s editorial voice, maintaining a sophisticated and factual tone.
    • Asset Management: Oversee the organisation of large-scale media libraries and project files to ensure a seamless, collaborative production environment.

    Ideal Experience & Qualifications

    • Professional Experience: Ideally 2-3 years of experience in a professional video editing role (agency, media house, or in-house creative team).
    • Portfolio: A proven track record of delivering quality long-form content (films/documentaries) and high-performance social media assets.
    • Educational Background: A degree in Film Production, Media, or Art History is preferred, though equivalent professional experience is highly valued.

    Technical Requirements

    • Software: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop) or DaVinci Resolve.
    • Aesthetic Judgment: A refined eye for typography, layout, and pacing, specifically within the context of fine art and historical media.
    • Audio Engineering: Proficiency in podcast post-production, including noise reduction, leveling, and narrative-driven sound design.
    • Motion Graphics: Ability to create clean, professional titles and animate static artworks to enhance storytelling.

    How to Apply

Please submit your application to recruitment@heni.com including:

    • Your CV outlining relevant experience and technical skills
    • A link to your portfolio demonstrating previous editing work, including examples of:
    • Long-form video content (documentaries, podcasts, or similar)
    • Short-form social media content across different platforms
