We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Application Support Specialist with a strong background in Tissue/Cellular Pathology, Histology, or Histopathology. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridisation (ISH), who are passionate about delivering exceptional support and training to both internal and external stakeholders.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert application, technical, and scientific support to customers and internal teams
- Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to case resolution
- Develop and implement sustainable solutions for technical support cases
- Deliver comprehensive customer training sessions, both remotely and on-site
- Conduct on-site support activities, including troubleshooting and workflow optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product performance
🧬 Required Expertise
- Strong foundation in Tissue/Cellular Pathology, Histology, or Histopathology
- Practical experience with IHC and ISH techniques
- Familiarity with automated staining platforms such as:
- Used one of these : Benchmark Ultra / Ultra Plus / XT /Bond /DAKO
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support cases simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset
