While full training is provided, previous experience in food production, manufacturing or similar environments is preferred.
As a Food Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in the creation of high‑quality food products. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, crafting, and assembling food products using cutting, mixing, and production equipment
* Transporting products around the facility using trolleys
* Handling raw ingredients and ensuring they meet quality requirements
* Conducting product quality checks to maintain food safety standards
* Cleaning equipment and maintaining hygiene throughout the production area
* Following all production procedures, SOPs, and quality systems
* Ensuring all staff around you are working to correct standards and safe processes
* Complying with all Health & Safety policies and stopping/reporting unsafe activity immediately
There are various shift patterns for this role: AM (6am-2pm) PM (2pm-10pm) Night (10pm-6am)
* The hourly rate for this role is paying between £13.14- £14.27 per hour
