How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Engineering Operations Coordinator (STEM Graduate)

    Salary: basic salary of up to £38,000 (potentially negotiable for the right person)

    Benefits include: A monthly paid guarenteed bonus structure (company wide) which has historically paid out around £2,000 - £3,000 per year (paid monthly), 5% contribuatory pension, 25 days holiday (+8 bank holidays), life assurance and enhanced sick pay, full induction training program and career progression, overtime at time and a half, and more!

    Engineering Operations Coordinator (STEM Graduate)

    This is a great opportunity for a recent STEM graduate to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury.

    The Engineering / Production Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing the operational and manufacturing administration, planning and coordinating within the manufacturing and production team. This role will require a keen eye for detail and first-class communication skills as this position will be a key interdepartmental link.

    The production controller role will suit someone with a recent STEM degree as some technical knowledge will be helpful (or atleast the capacity to learn the technical elements). You will also need to have good IT skills, be reliable and able to juggle multiple simultaneous responsibilities.

    Engineering Operations Coordinator Requirements

    * Knowledge of engineering and/or manufacturing and production

    * A STEM degree from a good university

    * Any previous experience in business operations within an engineering company is an advantage but not required

    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    * Able to keep clear, accurate and traceable records

    * A very good eye for detail

    * Driven and reliable
