Engineering Manager

Due to retirement, we’re partnering with a well-established international manufacturing group that operates across Europe and plays a key role in supplying materials into the construction and infrastructure sector. With a significant UK footprint and continued investment in their operations, they are now looking to appoint an Engineering Manager to lead one of their flagship production sites.

You’ll take ownership of a large, multi-skilled engineering team, driving performance across maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement, while playing a key role in shaping site culture and long-term engineering strategy. This is an opportunity for an experience engineering manager who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment but also wants the scope to influence, lead, and improve at a strategic level. This is a senior leadership role with real autonomy.

Engineering Manager Duties include:

* Manage the maintenance and reliability teams.

* Engineering team co-ordination.

* Continuous improvement and Operational Improvements.

* Budget and Asset Management.

* Health and Safety compliance.

* Facilities management.

* Supplier and contract management.

* Involvement in major breakdowns.

Engineering Manager Requirements include:

* HND or HNC in Engineering Discipline.

* Apprentice trained (NVQ Level 3, BTEC Level 3).

* IOSH Qualification.

* Experience managing large multi-skilled engineering teams.

* Lean manufacturing experience.

* Project management skills.

* Strong CMMS experience.

* Strong leadership qualities.

* Proven technical abilities.
