How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you hardworking, reliable, and ready to be part of a dynamic team? We're looking for motivated individuals to join our production team and help us deliver high-quality products to our customers every day.

    Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Hull.

    The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.

    Overtime is available at this site.

    You will work a rotating shift pattern: 5 days on / 2 days off, then 2 days on / 5 days off. Shifts include both day and night working. The hours of work are:

    - 6am to 6pm
    - 6pm to 6am

    Your Time at Work

    As a Production Operative, you'll be a key part of our operations. Your role ensures that our production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You'll operate machinery, manage workloads, and contribute to a team-focused environment where quality is always a priority.

    What you'll do:

    - Support daily production and assembly tasks, including stacking and wrapping products.
    - Move materials and products safely throughout the facility.
    - Complete all required paperwork and checks during the production process.
    - Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following health and safety regulations.
    - Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
    - Collaborate with your team to meet production targets and deadlines.
    - Report any quality issues, safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
    - Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Our Perfect Worker

    It is essential that you are hardworking, adaptable, and confident with a "can-do" attitude. You will show strong attention to detail and have the ability to follow instructions accurately.

    Applicants will have good verbal and written communication skills in English and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team.

    Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not essential - full training will be provided.
