Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and dynamic multi-disciplined, HGV Technician to join their Bishop Auckland team.
Job Purpose:
To service, maintain and repair vehicle chassis, body and specialist mounted equipment according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day service and repair of Heavy Goods Vehicles
* Run diagnostics on vehicles using a range of equipment
* Maintain a safe working environment at all times
* Carry out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs
* Complete technical training when required
* Complete relevant documentation
* Provide industry-leading customer service
* Carry out HGV MOT inspections and preparations
HGV Technician, Bishop Auckland
· Salary – up to £43,473.06 pa DOE
· Overtime paid at 1.5 Monday to Friday and Saturday, Sunday and Bank holiday’s at x2 plus day in lieu.
· Location – Bishop Auckland.
· Hours – 45 hpw, 9 hours per day between 07:30 and 17:00 Monday to Friday
· 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
