Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to lead the delivery of accessible user-centric interfaces for a secure law enforcement data service. This role requires a strong focus on creating scalable front-end solutions while adhering to accessibility standards and best practises.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of scalable front-end solutions using React.
- Champion best practises in performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Implement standards aligned with the (url removed) Design System.
- Collaborate with backend teams, designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall technical direction of the team.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with React and modern JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Proven experience working within UK Government or public sector environments (essential).
- Experience with the (url removed) Design System
Salary description
£550.00 - £650.00 per day
