Start Date: September (Trial period this half term)
Pay: Depending on experience, but between £185 - £230 per day!
We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Teacher with experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health for a long-term placement beginning in September. There will be an opportunity to undertake a trial period during the current half term.
Key Requirements:
Proven, substantial experience within a school setting
Ideally a minimum of 3 years at the same school, demonstrating stability and commitment
Strong understanding of the Primary and Secondary National Curriculum as the students will be aged 7-16
Confident in managing complex and challenging behaviour
Ability to create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Additional Criteria:
Available full-time
Available on a long-term basis
Experience within a secondary setting (all subject specialisms are a bonus)
Experience managing challenging behaviour in either an SEN school or a mainstream secondary school
Excellent track record in behaviour management and ability to engage pupils displaying challenging behaviour
High expectations for teaching and learning
Extensive experience leading classes
