How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Jaydee-Brook is an established and successful Internal Fit Out Company based in Peterborough. With over 35 years’ experience in retail, commercial, industrial installations and refurbishments, the Company has built a strong reputation for quality, efficiency and service.

    As part of our expansion programme, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced:

    COMMERCIAL MANAGER – Internal Fit Out / Construction

    Location: Head Office Based - Peterborough (Orton Southgate, Close to A1)

    Hours: Full Time – Monday – Friday

    Salary: Above Market Rates, Dependent on Experience, Capabilities & Ambition

    Our Company prides itself on high standards, professionalism and quality of project delivery. Working with numerous high profile clients, we are looking for a Commercial Manager from within our industry who has a can-do attitude that’s proven.

    The Commercial Manager will play a critical role in driving the business revenue and growth initiatives. You will also deliver key commercial projects alongside the existing Directors, using your commercial acumen, analytical and presentation skills.

    You will need to possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a can-do attitude with a high level of self-motivation.

    Responsibilities:

    * To regularly review all departmental processes for purchasing and cost control.

    * Ensuring the Companies Policies & Procedures are adhered to.

    * To provide costing analysis to monitor and maintain the Company performance against targets set.

    * Overview of sub-contractor arrangements and maintain a strong reliable database of contractors & suppliers.

    * Build a deep understanding of the business model including monitoring revenue and cost trends.

    * Always strive for best commercial prices whilst maintaining quality and deliverance in all areas.

    * Provide regular progress reports in line with predetermined objectives.

    The Required Candidate Will Offer Us & Is Expected:

    * To have the ability to assist in the development and growth of the business.

    * To have proven ability in Finance Management / Accountancy.

    * To have well-developed administrative and management skills

    * To have a passion & aptitude for getting the job done (but not at any cost!)

    * To have excellent in communication and presentation skills.

    * To of had experience in a similar role within our industry would be an essential requirement.

    * Must be happy to integrate into the Company’s current operating processes

    * Have the desire to want to grow with the Company, with the ambition to take on more responsibility
